The long wait for group video calling to come to Telegram is over. With the latest version of Telegram’s iOS, Android and desktop apps, users can turn their group voice chats into video conference calls. You have the option to pin someone’s video feed to your screen so that they stay front and center even as new participants join the call. Along with the long-awaited group video calls, Telegram added several other new features, including improved noise suppression, and animated backgrounds. Users on Telegram’s iOS or Android apps can choose from several default options or create their own animated backgrounds.
The company also included a few additional video chat features for tablets and desktops — since there's more screen space to work with.
